Contemporary study built-ins with natural cherry veneers

Pictured is one of several conference tables that we have designed and built for NASA.  This one is 21' long and tapers from 6' to 7 1/2' wide.  The table top had to be constructed in 6 pieces just to get it in the elevator.  We intentionally angled the straight-grain laminate to create a pleasing design in the top and give it a beautiful chevron design pattern.  The solid mahogany bull-nose edge is finished to match.  All together the blend of plastic laminate and solid hardwood made for an aesthetically pleasing yet durable design.

This bed features engineered veneers also known as composite veneers. This is a real wood veneer manufactured from the African obeche tree. They are also environmentally friendly and more uniform in grain and color than the natural veneer. Top this off with our catalyzed finish and you have a very durable moisture and chemical resistant piece of furniture.
